Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Specialist, Talent Acquisition

  • Ensure accurate & timely processing of front-line station staffing requests in accordance with AA and labor union guidelines
  • Collaborate with other members of the Talent Team and our RPO partners on daily updates regarding the filling of vacancies
  • Manages positive transfer experience with any questions that team members or the station may have throughout the process
  • Liaison to managers and station administrators with Workforce Planning, Labor, People Business Partners, and Legal
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate transfer, recall, and employee status information
  • Play a key role in the design and efforts to automate current processes
  • Communicate with team members from EDM, Payroll, and Workbrain to resolve any discrepancies to allow for a quick resolution
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to improve the overall employee transfer experience
  • Some travel may be required, up to 25%

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and apply complex labor contracts
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent training/experience
  • 2 years of experience in human resources or in an analytical role with high attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
  • Excellent customer service and resolution skills
