Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Manager

  • Train and develop a team of Crew Pay Servicing professionals and 3rd party contractors as needed
  • Support the labor relations team by providing consultation for proposed contract changes as they relate to pay
  • Conduct trend analyses, review key processing performance metrics, and partner with business leaders to address key issues (labor expenses and associated inaccuracies)
  • Understand crew pay inputs from other teams (e.g., Scheduling, Training, Flight Administration) to facilitate the development of the Crew Pay Servicing training manual
  • Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues, questions, and requests related to pay
  • Ensure the team responds to Crew Member inquiries and exceeds all established SLAs while providing excellent, consistent customer service through team briefings, updates, or other communication methods
  • Assist with user acceptance testing for new and/or modified earnings and deductions codes

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • Three or more years of experience working with pay, timekeeping, case management, or related field
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax principles
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources effectively, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and meet required deadlines
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot problems, recognize areas for process improvements, and identify and communicate trends
