The Compliance Systems Management Manager is responsible for the management, security, and configuration control of aircraft loadable software parts. They are responsible for the creation, monitoring, and management of aircraft time controls and compliances within the maintenance tracking systems. They are responsible for the regulatory systems to ensure tracking, compliance, and reporting of FAA and OEM mandatory directives and bulletins.

Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Compliance Systems Management

  • Manage the retrieval, storage (library), and distribution of aircraft Loadable Software Parts
  • Act as the Loadable Software Aircraft Parts Management Librarian (LSAPL) administrator
  • Create, control, and monitor standards for the HA’s M&E IT Systems related to controls and compliances
  • Develop and manage a system of audit of HA’s M&E IT System related to time-controlled aircraft, engine, and rotatable components to ensure inspections and removals are accomplished in compliance with the FAA-approved Aircraft Maintenance Program.  Collaborate with Maintenance Programs and Engineering to update task cards, fix errors, and improve tracking compliance
  • Administers the AD Coordination / Technical Review Group (TRG) meeting with key stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained (monthly). The meeting subject includes but is not limited to airworthiness directives (AD), original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and vendor service bulletins (SB), service letters (SL), alert operators’ transmissions (AOT), and notice of proposed rulemakings (NPRM) documents

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize complex technical matters. Must be able to confidently and professionally represent Hawaiian Airlines to members of federal authorities and industry
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects to balance work within the section.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of aviation experience with FAR 121 and/or Part 145, or military equivalent, in the field of aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, or Quality Assurance
  • Must possess good organizational and prioritization skills, and a demonstrated ability to act as an effective change agent
