Requirements For This Role

  • Technical school training in an aeronautical field or equivalent. Post-high school and/or university training is an asset.
  • Sound technical knowledge of processes and procedures relative to Air Canada‚Äôs Maintenance Programs
  • Ability to assess the operational situation and make decisions on problems in terms of aircraft downtime, manpower, and resource requirements.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Team-oriented individual with good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, TRAX, and Netline.
  • Must be available for shift pattern work (Day and Night shifts).
  • A.M.E license certificate is an asset.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of aircraft Inflight Entertainment, Wi-Fi, and Avionics Systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including wiring diagrams, Illustrated Part List, and other types of Technical Instructions.
  • Good judgment and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Good knowledge of cabin interiors, seats, lavatories, galleys, and lighting systems.
